Children's education

We have only just come out of the pandemic and now a new serious issue arises. The In the past few days, the first Ukrainian refugees in the Netherlands have reached our region and in the coming period, more and more refugees will reach our region. Among the refugees there are, of course, children. These children of primary/vocational age have – like all newcomers in the Netherlands – right to education. This is regardless of their residency status. It is expected that about 400 to 500 students in our region will receive education in the primary or secondary education. In our region we have agreed that the language schools and the ISK provide the first education to these students. We'll have to pull out all the stops to make this happen. That is why we are now making this appeal to you! Our main goals are: coordinating work on determination in schools / garden (coordination of kids to attend school / kindergarten) coordinating work on the organisation of sports, hobbies, language courses (for kids and adults) coordination of kids to attend after school activity, language, music, etc timely notification in the centre of all news on this issue (update on these activities to participants) Do you want to help us with the education of Ukrainian students?
